Since 1997, Body & Soul has been a steadfast presence in the heart of Dallas, delivering fresh, hand-prepared meals, essential clothing, hygiene products, and compassionate fellowship to individuals experiencing homelessness.
Every weekend, we fill a critical gap — providing nourishment, dignity, and hope when other services are unavailable.
We fill a communal gap every weekend when hot meals and daily personal care needs are scarce for most of the unsheltered population in our community.

Weekend feeding services.
Every weekend for the past 28 years, we have consistently cooked and served hand-made, hot meals, for our guests who are actively experiencing homelessness. Our Saturday breakfast fellowship, and our Sunday dinner services are 100% volunteer-led. Reach out if you or anyone else is interested in any volunteer opportunities.
Join the MovementShare Inspirational Messages
Since we began Saturday breakfast services, we have set aside at least 15 minutes to share biblically-based messages of grace, love, and encourgagement to our guests who come hungry for more than just food. We share the love of our Lord and Savior to fill their spirits with hope.

Before our Saturday breakfast service begins, we open up "The Store" at 8:00 am for our homeless guests. We let them pick out "essential" self-care products that they need for the week, such as deodorant, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, and lotion, in addition to letting them choose 3 donated clothing items each week.

We also help the unsheltered by connecting them to other supportive agencies and charitable organizations, sharing valuable information about social services and programs that are available to them, to ultimately help guests take critical steps toward stability and self-sufficiency.

We will soon launch our Journey Partners program, which will connect mentors (vetted, local citizens) with our unsheltered guests, to support individuals' housing and employement pursuits. Our Journey Partners will walk with individuals for however long it takes to ensure continued success in their journey of living a better life.
